As a first Czech jewellery I would like to introduce you Fiordmoss. It´s probably because I have seen them 2 times live lately and both of the shows were just incredible and so full of stange tension.
They personally don´t really like the fact that everybody thinks they try to refer to the "north" kind of music, but you can feel the influence in their music. Although they say it is not intentional.. They choose their name - Fiordmoss - because they liked the contrast of these two words: fiord x moss. Would you ever guess?
Originally there were just 2 musicians forming the band - Petra and Roman, but bacause of Petras´ hand injury they were joinded by Jan, who stayed with them till now and it seem as a really great symbiosis. The singer Petra is incredibly beautiful and looks so etheric and fragile! Her voice with the mysterious guitar sounds is just perfect. Something is just melting inside of you when you listen to this unique band.
As Fiordmoss say, single Cold Night is the only song about love they have. It tells the story (based on the truth) about a doctor who was in love with his patient but she died. So he took her home, dressed her into a wedding dress and kept her in his home for a few years.... hmm very romantic
