A BANQUET

A BANQUET! I have to write it in capital letters. It´s just not possible to talk about them writting small ones. After a great EP Kiss the Night! they are here with their first regular CD Breath. This time even more elaborated. They worked hard and choose the best they got to make this disc, which was recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini. I think guys must very proud about the fact they got the chance to record with such a famous man and they definitely eraned it. Because of recording Breath, they took out a loan, so hopefully it´s gonna pay them back (but was worth it)!

They invented the new music style futu-roll, or maybe they were just tired of being put into boxes. Futu-roll is mixture of 60s and 70s rock, indie, electro, nu-rave (as they say)... Well I think it´s just A BANQUET!
Their live shows are very energetic with a bunch of girls in pit desiring these hot guys with tight jeans and cool hair, which makes their view peobably very narrow. The image is also very important and their just goes with the kind of music they play - as we say - like ass on the pot.

I really admire them, because of their hard work and how fast they manage to be on the top of the czech indie scene. There is much more to write about them and I am not gonna keep it just for me. Hopefully I will see them soon live again and get you some report. Since then, enjoy their music!
